An OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST works with clients to help them achieve a fulfilled and satisfied state in life through the use of purposeful activities.  Or they create interventions designed to achieve functional outcomes which promote health, prevent injuries or disabilities, all of which develops, improves, sustains or restores the highest possible level of independence.


Occupational Therapy Services:

  • Functional Capacity Evaluations, Job Site Analysis, and Return to work program 
  • Help to improve the ability to perform daily tasks in daily living and working environments.
  • Works with people who have conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally, socially or emotionally disabling.
  • Improves basic motor functions, reasoning abilities and helps to compensate for permanent loss of function
  • Assist clients in performing activities of all types
  • Early intervention therapy for infants/toddlers who have, or are at risk of having developmental delays
  • Work with people with mental health problems and learning disabilities and coping with daily life
  • Instruct people with permanent disabilities, such as:

- Spinal cord injuries
- Cerebral palsy
- Muscular dystrophy
